La Grazia ha Cuore Umano

Dear friends, I'm very happy to inform you that on march 14th at 6.00 p.m. there will be the opening of my new solo exhibition "La Grazia ha Cuore Umano" (Grace has a Human Heart), at the Bisonte Gallery, via San Niccolò 24/red in Florence. Catalogue introduction written by prof. Marzio Dall'Acqua, president of Parma Academy of Fine Arts, and by Marco Fiori, president of the association ALI (Associazione Liberi Incisori- Free Engravers Association) of Bologna. The exhibition will be open till april 6th 2012.

Dear friends, I'm very glad to inform you that on thursday september the 29^th I had the honour to give the Duke Carlo Saverio di Borbone Parma the very first copy of my etching "Noi, Maria Luigia". This etching will be the cover image of the book "All'ombra della corona" written by Lucia Togninelli. The event has taken place in the premises of the Ordine Costantiniano di S.Giorgio in Parma. I also inform you that on saturday october the 8Th at 4,00 O'clock p.m., there will be the inauguration of the show "Specchia-Menti" in the Complesso Monumentale del Mauriziano in Reggio Emilia.

Almanacco 2011

Hi everybody, I let you know that on saturday december the 18th at 10.30 a.m. in the Società del Casino in Reggio Emilia there will be the introduction of the 2011 Italia Nostra Almanac, which contains two etchings of mine. The Almanac will be sent to important Museums and Institutions, among which the Uffizi Museum Drawing and Etchings Cabinet in Florence, the Prato Contemporary Art Center "L.Pecci", the Florence Kunsthistorische Institut, the Rome National Etchings Cabinet, the Rome National Modern Art Gallery, the Morandi Museum in Bologna, the International Gallery of Modern Art Ca' Pesaro in Venice, the Peggy Guggenheim Collection in Venice and the Etchings Civic Collection "A.Bertarelli" of the Sforzesco Castle in Milan.

Quand le ciel bas et lourd pèse comme un couvercle Sur l’esprit gémissant en proie aux longs ennuis, Et que de l’horizon embrassant tout le cercle Il nous verse un jour noir plus triste que les nuits;

Quand la terre est changée en un cachot humide, Où l’Espérance, comme une chauve-souris, S’en va battant les murs de son aile timide Et se cognant la tête à des plafonds pourris;

Quand la pluie étalant ses immenses traînées D’une vaste prison imite les barreaux, Et qu’un peuple muet d’infâmes araignées Vient tendre ses filets au fond de nos cerveaux,

Des cloches tout à coup sautent avec furie Et lancent vers le ciel un affreux hurlement, Ainsi que des esprits errants et sans patrie Qui se mettent à geindre opiniâtrément.
